The prognosis is generally poor, but varies depending on histology and cell origin, size of the tumor, and degree of invasion. Meningiomas and benign bone tumors have the best prognoses. Sinonasal undifferentiated carcinomas, small-cell neuroendocrine carcinomas, osteosarcomas, and rhabdomyosarcomas have poorer prognoses.
